WRX/STi rear wheel stud replacement

Remove the two bolts holding the caliper in place using your 14mm socket, and ziptie it out of the way. I have mine attached to the swaybar in this picture.

MAKE SURE YOUR E-BRAKE IS OFF! Thread the two M8x1.25 bolts into the rotor until they are snug. Alternating between the two, a turn here a turn there, tighten the bolts until the rotor backs off.

This is what you should see.

Notice the four allen head bolts? Those are holding on the toothed ring the ABS uses to sense wheel speed. The ring physically blocks access to the wheel studs:

Using your 5mm allen key, remove all four bolts holding the ABS ring in place.

Here is the ring pushed to the side, looking at the actual Wheel Speed Sensor:

And a view from the rear, looking at the Wheel Speed Sensor:

Using your 12mm wrench, remove the bolt holding the wheel speed sensor in place. This can require a bit of force; swear at it if it makes you feel better. With the bolt removed, the wheel speed sensor will slide right out.
